Lore

Forged in stellar fire and crowned by the glowing gem known as the Celeston, the Voidstar staff was the symbol of the Starcaller King.

In the time before, the Starcaller was besieged by the forces of Hyperion. The Mage-King's alliance with the beast Astaroth had been a last desperate gamble to defend his people from Hyperion's wrath, but it had cost the power-hungry king dearly. His kingdom had crumbled, literally - the great lord Hyperion having smitten their floating lands, sending them crashing to our lands, below. Only the citadel of Ele'Rune remained and from its ramparts the Starcaller made one last mad bargain with evil Astaroth: In exchange for the power to hide his people from Hyperion, he would give himself over to the foul beast completely, becoming his creature.

Astaroth accepted the Starcaller's offer. The Fallen One reached into the heavens and pulled from that celestial curtain not a star, but a gaping maw of voidstuff. As it tasted the air of our land it howled and sputtered into life, burning the air around it in a hellish amethyst glow. Then, the Defiled One opened his hellish jaws and spoke:

"Behold the Celeston, the Death of Stars; the dread at the center of the cosmos!"

Tips

Plan your Void mine placement - Void mines, especially when fully upgraded, are incredibly powerful, but they are easy to spot and avoid. Time your placement carefully or work at leading your enemies into them for best effect.

Go for the gold! - Voidstar's ability to warp space and return your dragon to the nearest friendly hoard is the key to quickly building up your upgrades and becoming a powerhouse sooner, rather than later.
